This Institute will be conducting a two day “Workshop on NATIONAL TRAINING POLICY” during April 28 - 29, 2014.   

 

2.       Details about the Workshop, eligibility criteria etc. is given in the Course Information Sheet, appended as Annexure-I. It is requested that nomination of eligible and interested candidates may please be forwarded to the undersigned, latest by March 28th, 2014. The Workshop will involve own time and group activities, Therefore, nomination of only those officers who can attend on a full time basis from 09:00 hours till 17:30 hours and also devote time for own time work may be sent. The Nomination may also be sent by fax and/or by e-mail to samar.nath@nic.in . The Nomination forms are to be downloaded from ISTM web-site www.istm.gov.in. or www.istm.nic.in.

 

3.       Only such candidates, whose nominations are accepted for the Workshop by Institute of Secretariat Training & Management, would be allowed to join the course.  It is, therefore, reiterated that nominees should be relieved only after receipt of acceptance letter from the Institute. The nomination acceptance letter will be sent to the sponsoring authorities and to the individual officers and also may be uploaded in from ISTM website.

WORKSHOP INFORMATION SHEET

 

TITLE:                                    Workshop on National Training Policy 

COURSE CODE:                          WNTP-06

DURATION:                           Two day (from 28th  to 29th  April, 2014)

 

 

ELIGIBILITY:

 

  •    Training Managers/middle level officers of Ministries/Departments of Central and State Governments     and       its    attached and subordinate offices.
  •        Trainers of Central/State Training Institutions
  •         HRD Personnel

OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE:

 

1.     Describe the salient features of National Training Policy

2.     Describe competency framework.

3.     Describe Strategic  Human Resource Management system

4.     Explain the Role of Ministries / Departments /

Organizations and Role of Training Institutes

5.     Analyse  the implication of the various provisions of the National Training Policy

6.     Identify issues for implementation of the policy.

HOSTEL FACILITIES

       The Workshop is a non-residential programme. However, hostel facilities are available for outstation participants on nominal payment and on first come first served basis. In case a candidate needs hostel accommodation, he/she may indicate this in the Nomination form. Outstation participants for hostel accommodation are advised to contact Hostel Warden (Tel No. 26165593) or Caretaker (Tel No. 26172571) for hostel accommodation.

 

CAPITATION FEE:            A capitation fee of Rs.2000/-(Rupees Two Thousand) only per participant will be payable for nominees of organizations other than Central or State Governments, i.e., for nominations from the central and the State Public Sector Undertakings, autonomous bodies and the statutory bodies. The capitation fee may be paid by crossed Account Payee Cheque/Demand Draft drawn in favour of “Assistant Director, Institute of Secretariat Training & Management, New Delhi”, payable at New Delhi at the time of registration on the opening day of the course.
