About ISTM Library

The ISTM Library plays an essential role in supporting the training and capacity-building efforts of the Institute’s stakeholders. It is dedicated to providing comprehensive support to faculty members and trainees in achieving the institution’s collaborative educational and training objectives. As a knowledge center, the library serves users by supplying the necessary information resources and documents.

The ISTM Library offers open access and operates as a semi-automated library, allowing faculty, staff, and trainees to select, reserve, and search for documents in its catalog. Users can also access e-resources, explore a photo gallery, and utilize several online databases to obtain needed materials. The library’s collection can be browsed online through the cloud-based web application e-Granthalaya Version 4.0, which also provides access to the OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) for efficient and prompt searching of library resources. The collection includes approximately 20,000 general and instructional (rule) books, along with subscriptions to over 20 daily newspapers and 40 periodicals and journals. The ISTM Library is an active subscriber to DELNET and Manupatra, extending its resource reach.

Additionally, the library features a dedicated Resource Centre that houses past and current year tour reports, project reports, and assignments for various cadre-based courses. For user convenience, the library offers eight dedicated personal computers with internet access.

The ISTM Library remains committed to supporting faculty members and trainees in achieving their educational and training goals. It is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 A.M. to 5:30 P.M.
