CPIO, Northern Railway, DRM’s Office, New Delhi Information requested The Appellant sought copy of his complete service book and personal file along with copies of all noting(s). Decision In view of the contentions of both parties, Commission directs Respondent No.1 to make another concerted effort at tracing out the relevant records and upon retrieving the same should be provided to the Appellant free of cost. A compliance report to this effect shall be duly sent to the Commission by Respondent No.1. In the event, the records remain untraceable; Respondent No.1 is directed to file an appropriate affidavit to this effect stating the efforts invested in tracing the records and the factum of its non-availability. The said affidavit should be sent to the Commission with its copy duly endorsed to the Appellant. The aforesaid directions should be complied within 15 days from the date of receipt of this order. |
